Welcome to Motherhood 101 outreach sessions. Every month myself and the amazing Louise Paterson from Community Midwifery Service will be at a different mother and baby friendly venue within the South Eastern suburbs.
Come join us for a coffee and a chat. Ask us about your pregnancy, your birth or postpartum planning or any postpartum issues you may be having.
We want to support you and answer any questions or issues you are struggling with. It may be as simple as how your feeling right now. See you there and feel free to bring a friend.

When I was experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety I found affirmations provided me with hope and put a little light in the day. I thought it would be nice for mums to have a little positive inspiration so as a result Glow Stones have been born. Glow Stones provide inspiration and are a great way of boosting your mood. Place your stone on your bedside table, bathroom window or kitchen bench to remind yourself how amazing you are. If you'd like your own personalised Glow Stone contact me to inquire.
Thank you to The Garden for providing me with the opportunity to present at the festival and discuss perinatal mental health and wellness. It was a great day filled with amazing presenters who provided a wealth of knowledge and resources to the community.
On Friday November 17th over thirty people came together during Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Awareness week to watch When the Bough Breaks, a documentary which follows three women's journey through postpartum depression. It provides critical insight into a topic that continues to carry stigma and shame. All funds from the evening were donated to PANDA (Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia). Thank you to everyone who attended, all of our silent auction donors and stall holders. You all made the night a success. We raised $815.00 for an amazing orgainsation that helps so many women and families through their difficult journey. Please let's keep telling our stories and raising awareness! Here are some photos of the night.

I am very excited for the opportunity to be interviewed this weekend by Little Rockers Radio. I will be spreading awareness of PND & anxiety and sharing my postpartum journey. It will air just in time for Mother's Day. Stay tuned!
